I wouldn't like to mention this to any of the sponsors but ... one thing I love about art journalling is how little STUFF you really need (as opposed to is nice to have). I've just finished a page using my Neocolour crayons and two black pens, plus a couple of collage images. Simples!! Yes I do use other stuff but these are my basics, and they're pretty portable too.
I thought it might be interesting to ask what other people consider their absolute basic supplies? Bet we're all different apart from the black pens?? |

My basics - a waist high pile of journals/notesbooks/sketchbooks.. I may have a problem there, I can't resist journals of all kinds. If I had to choose though... my watercolour moleskine. Gesso & Gel Medium (I use liquitex) Posca Paint Pens and Pigma Micron Pens paints - any, all kinds, all colours. They are my absolute basics. There is a HUGE follow on list though....mahoooosive in fact. |

I've had a look at your blog and your journal pages - they are gorgeous and look very calming and almost theraputic. It's great to see how you build up layers. I left a long comment but after three attempts at trying to work out the numbers - very feint so couldn't really see them, and the long letter 'strings' I just had to give up. |

No pages from me. I'm desperate to get to my desk but just don't have time at the moment. It's very frustrating!
