Does anyone know what the price increase is and when it applies?? I have been trying to find out but cannot find any info anywhere!! Some one did tell me that only 2nd class basic is going up, to 55p but I cannot believe that as that is more expensive than basic first class!!!!

Stock up on generic 1st, 2nd & large letter stamps now at the old price. You can also use these towards overseas postage so you can buy at the old rate but count them at the new rate after April when the prices shoot up.

In 2002 a first class stamp was 27p, a second class only 19p.

I was kind of surprised that the PO wasn't full yesterday with people panic buying but it was very quiet. maybe the news hadn't got around too much yet....

On a different subject to the postal rates, I thought that it might be useful to include a contact list of UKS administrator(s) should we have a problem with something? That is if I am missing an obvious link on the site? I know Sid is an administrator but not sure if he is the sole one?
