Hi Xmasbaby! Your lovely altered ATC arrived yestderday, thank you very much! I really like the cogs.
I tried to tell you yesterday, that it had come, but my internet keeps dropping out, and I just had to give up in the end. I'm so glad my Altered ATC arrived safely, and that you like it, Glitter Monkey. It was great fun to make, but a lot of work, so I don't think I will be making another one in a hurry!! |

Hi Christine
So pleased it arrived safely and that you liked it - the cogs are brilliant and I love them but they really stunk when they first arrived LOL. I had PC problems the other day - very inconsiderate of it and so frustrating. Hugs Chrissie xx |

Just seen this post Tasha - I hadn't realised it was the same member's CJ that had gone missing - I was assuming there was a problem with the post at my end when the ATC didn't arrive as a parcel never arrived with some stuff IndigoBlu wanted me to use on my last batch of samples either - it's worrying though isn't it when you put so much effort in and things just disappear? Does anyone know what the difference is between proof of postage, registered post and special delivery? I might change my method! Julie

Special delivery is v quick and is signed for at the other end and they keep a note of who takes it in. If there is no one there they don't deliver. Registered post is where you get a receipt for posting it and then you can track whether it has been delivered but thats all and proof of posting just is proof that you posted something tothe address, not what or whether it was delivered. Well that's how I understand it anyway!

I think registered post and special delivery are the same thing - it is over £5 but is guaranteed next day and also insured. Recorded delivery is a bit cheaper. It only carries a low rate of insurance but is tracked so it's the safest way for something precious but not valuable (like a journal).
Normal first class with a proof of posting gives you the right to claim a small amount too - but as it's not tracked they won't be able to find your item!! I always go for recorded for journals. I do hope your ATC turns up Julie xx Lynn ♥ |
