Its been a while since we have had a CJ. Im thinking of organising an Art Journal CJ if there is enough interest???????????

Please excuse my ignorance! Am I right in thinking that CJ means "circular journal?" I'm sure I've seen the term used somewhere, but I don't know how they work. Could someone tell me, please?

You start with a book/journal, the theme is decided either by the host or yourself, you decorate your first page and then post on to the next person, you receive a new one and do a page in that, post it on... And so on. At the end your own book returns home decorated by everyone. There is usually 10 in the group....you must post by a certain date and be sure you can commit....otherwise it turns out very messy... Believe me I know!

Does everyone in the group make a journal, so that 10 journals are circulating if there are 10 people in the group? That seems quite a commitment!! |

Yes, everyone in the group starts a journal and passes it on until (hopefully) everyone gets their completed journal back. So it is a very big commitment.
