Looks good. Is it sturdy enough to have a computer monitor on top of it? I'm looking for something A4 landscape that I could put my monitor on as I need to raise it up (and I could do with some more storage on my desk).

its fairly sturdy as its metal and all locks together - no scews or any other fixings. I suppose it depends how heavy your monitor is

This is such a good recommendation! Especially showing us what it can hold. We are quite a way from Ikea but actually we are going there next week so I will have a look. We will need a whole new house in due course so we thought we would suss out what things cost these days! We haven't bought much for the house since we were first married so i'm out of touch!
