Colorbox Frost White pigment ink or Brilliance Moonlight White are both pretty good but to be honest, if you want really opaque white on a coloured background then embossing powder is the only way to do it. I've just got the Wow Bright White one as the one I have (Stampendous) is a bit "off white" but haven't had chance to try it yet.

I've seen some stuff done with the Papertrey ink snow frost white but can't get hold of it...anyone used the StampinUp whisper white?

No, but the topic of white ink often comes up at Splitcoast and often seems to be prompted by people being dissatisfied with their SU ink!

I have lots of white inkpads as I found white almost as difficult as finding a good black one, but the one I like best now is the Adirondack Snowcap. Before I got that one, I would only ever use white embossing powder if I wanted a really bright white!!
